Licensing Options

DEVELOPER EDITION – Licensed per developer

DEVELOPER EDITION – Design, test, and run Windows programs, System Services, Console applications, ASP.NET web services and pages, and Visual Studio .NET projects with runtime free redistribution rights. License includes:

• Immediate electronic software delivery.
• Ready to run example projects with fully commented source code.
• Discounts for additional developers within first 60 days from date of purchase.
• Extensive documentation
• Licensing – Software Serial Numbers, Activation codes and USB dongles are issued only to the single individual using the software in a development capacity.
  • One (1) Software Serial Number assigned to a single individual
  • Two (2) Software Activation Codes. Activation codes for use on 2 non-concurrent machines will be issued only to the single individual assigned the Software Serial Number.
  • Replacement Activation Codes. In the event of a catastrophic system failure or changes to hardware or operating system, CimQuest INGEAR will provide (2) re-activations for the same title and version purchased for 2 years from date of purchase.
  • RUNTIME FREE distribution components and files
  • Optional USB License Key (“Dongle”) can be issued only to the single individual assigned the Software Serial Number
  • The Developers License may be reassigned (transferred) to another designated individual or contact person on a one-time basis, and must occur within 6 months from date of purchase. You must contact CimQuest INGEAR to request authorization prior to license re-assignment. All materials including but not limited to CD’s, USB Keys, applications, runtime files, must be conveyed to the new licensee. All support is terminated effective upon reassignment.

  • Provided only to the individual assigned the Software Serial Number.
  • 90 days of  support commencing on date of purchase
  • Optional fee-based incident support available.

TEAM EDITION – For multiple users of the DEVELOPER EDITION

TEAM EDITION – Additional users under a parent DEVELOPER EDITION license. All team members must work in the same physical location as the parent DEVELOPER EDITION license.

• Licensing – Software Serial Numbers, Activations codes and USB dongle are issued only to the single individual using the software in a development capacity.
  • One (1) Software Serial Number assigned to a single individual
  • Two (2) Software Activation Codes. Activation codes for 2 concurrent machines will be issued only to the single individual assigned the Software Serial Number.

COMPACT FRAMEWORK DEVELOPER EDITION – Design, test, and run Windows CE, Compact Framework, Mobile Device and other Smart Device projects with runtime free redistribution rights. License includes: :

• Immediate electronic software delivery.
• Ready to run example projects with fully commented source code.
• Discounts for additional developers within first 60 days from date of purchase.
• Extensive documentation
• Licensing – Software Serial Numbers and Activation codes are issued to a single individual using the software in a development capacity.
  • One (1) Software Serial Number assigned to a single individual
  • Two (2) Software Activation Codes. Activation codes for 2 concurrent machines will be issued only to the single individual assigned the Software Serial Number.

SINGLE MACHINE EDITION – Licensed per installation

SINGLE MACHINE EDITION – Design, test, and run Windows programs, System Services, Console applications and other desktop projects for a single machine. License includes:

• Immediate electronic software delivery
• Ready to run example projects with fully commented source code.
• Extensive documentation
• Licensing – Serial Numbers and activation codes are valid for use on a single computer.
  • One (1) Software Serial Number assigned to a single individual.
  • One (1) Software Activation Code issued only to the single individual assigned the Software Serial Number
  • Replacement Activation Code. In the event of a catastrophic system failure or change in hardware or operating system, CimQuest INGEAR will provide (1) re-activation for your software at no charge for the same title and version purchased for one year from date of purchase. A minor processing fee may apply for additional activation.
  • SINGLE MACHINE EDITION does not include runtime free distribution rights.
• Support
  • Provided only to the individual assigned the Software Serial Number.
  • 30 days of  support commencing on date of purchase.
  • DEVELOPER EDITION UPGRADES – Upgrade to the DEVELOPER EDITION of the same title within the first 60 days from date of purchase.
  • The Single Machine Edition License may not be reassigned to another designated individual or contact person.
  • Single Edition does not include any other Edition licenses or redistribution rights
