INGEAR .NET Core / .NET 5 Drivers for Allen-Bradley & Siemens PLC’s
NET.CoreLogix and NET.S7Core Let Windows, Linux, and MacOS Users Connect to Popular PLCs
Phoenixville, Pennsylvania — February 23, 2021 – CimQuest INGEAR (www.ingeardrivers.com), has introduced new versions of its NET.Logix and NET.S7Link software packages that allow applications to easily connect to systems running the Microsoft .NET Core and .NET 5.0 frameworks, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS computers to a wide range of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
CimQuest INGEAR, a leading developer of software development solutions for industrial applications, developed NET.CoreLogix to allow engineers to easily connect systems running the Microsoft .NET Core and .NET 5.0 frameworks to Rockwell Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs).
With this software automation software developers can develop IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications, including ultra-low cost operator interfaces and headless intelligent devices that can be read and written to by Allen-Bradley PLCs, OPC Servers and other drivers.
The new NET.S7Core driver allows developers to easily connect systems running the Microsoft .NET Core and .NET 5.0 frameworks to Siemens S7 200, 300, 400, 1200, 1500 and ET200 controllers. NET.S7Core includes an S7Server class to receive unsolicited message from S7300, 400, 1200 and 1500 using GET/PUT function blocks.
NET.CoreLogix and NET.S7Core offer exactly the same features, functionality, and programming interfaces as the earlier NET.Logix and NET.S7Link software packages. As a result, existing INGEAR customers can port their existing projects unchanged to Linux and macOS platforms.
